I get rather incoherent at 1am in the morning.

I meant what I said, though.

Yeah, I know, I haven't been blogging in a long time. Over the past week I've opened Blogger multiple times and typed a few words--pretty much like what I'm doing now, actually, except that I fully intend to succeed this time--before giving up, closing IE and going to do something marginally more interesting.

Still, it's a blessing in disguise that I didn't write anything, given that the foremost topic in my mind--well, almost foremost, anyway;

there's been HCI bridge cup, where we missed third place by 2 IMPs due to teammates managing, amazing, to not find slam despite having an 11-card club fit,

there's been the release of V6--which means a whole new plethora of songs to attempt, including A. Dogma, R2I, Through the Fire and Flames (which I sightread, hurhur)--but I will refrain from waxing lyrical over it because only two people understand what I am talking about. One of them doesn't read my blog. The other does, but doesn't care.

and of course there's been homework, which is everlasting, never goes away, wastes your time and effort and pisses you off. Abit like noob dota pubs, actually...

But anyway, as I was saying, one of the foremost things in my mind (is this sentence even etymologically correct?) were my classmates. Certain classmates. Which I was almost going to write about, until Tingfang pointed out to me, in one of her more lucid moments today--the non-lucid moments being when she's

a) sleeping in class/during lunch/pretty much anytime in the day
b) complaining about her hair
c) playing Tetris

--that I haven't updated my blog for a long time.

Tingfang: "Eh why your blog never update one?"
Me: O_O
Me: "You read my blog!!?!"
Me: "WAH HENG AH LUCKY I NEVER POSTED ABOUT THAT"
Chinese Teacher: "航畅, 你读完了吗?" >=(

As you can see, life does have its moments where it is kind to me.

I am damn stressed because Everything is due tomorrow, I haven't started Anything, HCI is this saturday, I want to jam on Friday but can't due to bridge, and I don't understand Chemical Bonding at ALL.

So I go listen to FT1+2. Nothing's done yet, but I feel marginally better.

Firstly, and most importantly, THANKS TO ALL WHO WISHED ME HAPPY BIRTHDAY TODAY. This list includes, in no particular order, and with the exception of people I forgot

XUEWEN

LEONARD
SHUJIAN
TINGFANG
ELIZ
MICHELLE
CHEN2
LAWIS
BENWEE
ELANG
GWEN
MAVIS
QIWEN
RENWEI

ASDFG ALL THE FACEBOOK PEOPLE LA THEY DONT READ MY BLOG ANYWAY
(this includes the Facebook Team, which sincerely wishes me a happy birthday. According to them, at any rate.)

But seriously, thanks all for all the celebrations/cakes/Swensens/obnoxiously loud Happy Birthday songs. I love all of you. Yes, even you, the one with the cynical look on your face right now.

I'll post about everything in Detail later. Or maybe not.

Thanks, everyone.

hw`: ModelDD4 is screwed up and annoying and discordant.
gwen: I STILL HEAR IT

Apparently everyone can't wait for Model DD4 to stop being played. The unfairness of life...

Anyway, my new song's up; if I get complaints about this it will seriously serve to reinforce my opinion that all of you have no taste whatsoever. It's a piano cover of Ocean Avenue, which is in itself a damn nice song. The only problem is that it takes ridiculously long to load. Apparently more people listen to this than ModelDD4....

If you want to let the whole thing load so you can listen to it without jerky interruptions, here's the link:

Okay after recieving lots of complaints from everyone about how screwed up and noisy and discordant ModelDD4 is--which, by the way, just goes to show how bad everyone else's taste in music is--I will take it down. Happy? Happy?!

You guys break my heart, truly you do.

(This is, of course, the best time for all of you to PM me telling me about what a perfect piece of music ModelDD4 is and how youall long for it to be reuploaded as my blog song.)

I am very tempted to upload FT2/SaW as my new blog songs.

Truth be told, I couldn't really care less about who gets into council, because no matter how stringent the voting process:

1) approximately 30% of the 29th Students' Council will be slackers just angling for that mention in their testimonial, and
2) the remaining 70% will be nice and hardworking and enthusiastic people.

However, I do care about who does NOT get into council, because there are some people out there so irritating and slackerish they don't even deserve to be in the first 30%. The scary thing is, they might actually make it into council because they

1) go around saying VOTE FOR ME PLZ
2) have friends who go around saying VOTE FOR ME PLZ
3) have influential friends who can get their circle to friends to go around saying VOTE FOR ME PLZ

So, to the gist of my rant/post:

Before you vote, consider:

1) You know for a fact that the idiot you're voting for deserves to be in council
a) and not because you heard about what he did second/third-hand, or
b) some chio girl asked you to vote for him/her, or because
c) he/she flirts with you in school.

2) If you're voting for someone who you don't really think will make a good council member, then either
a) he/she'd better be your really, really, really good friend, or
b) you'd better have been paid to do so.

Thanks. Have a nice day. Here's wishing accuracy (and precision, hurhur) for the first relatively fair election in 5 years of RP education.

Just so you know...

Some Singaporeans have a belief that people from RI are lifeless muggers who spend Fridays (and most of the other days of the week, actually) studying.

People from RI have a belief that aforementioned Singaporeans are idiots.
